Questions owners ask first
Is HelpCenter official Telegram support?
No. HelpCenter is an independent product and is not affiliated with Telegram. It will never ask for your login code or password.
Does it answer inside my group?
Not yet. Members ask the bot in a private chat: you pin a post with an Ask button, and they tap it. Private answers inside groups, visible only to the person who asked, are planned for Pro.
Is my members' data safe?
We store your Telegram ID, your bot and your FAQ. Questions are encrypted and deleted after 90 days. To write each answer, the question and your FAQ are sent to DeepSeek, our AI provider, without names or Telegram IDs. We don't sell data or train AI on it. Send /deletemydata to @HelpCenterBot to delete everything; members can send /forgetme to your bot. Details in the Privacy Policy.
Can it give my members a wrong answer?
It answers only from your FAQ and is told never to invent prices or promises. AI can still misread a question, so keep your FAQ clear. You see every question it couldn't answer.
Does it work on desktop and web Telegram?
Yes. Some desktop and web apps can't show the one-tap create button. Then @HelpCenterBot walks you through creating the bot with @BotFather in a few steps.
